2. General information on data processing

Scope of processing personal data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. As a general rule, I only collect and use personal data from my users to the extent that this is necessary to provide a functional website and to display and present my content and services. The collection and use of personal data from my users only takes place with the consent of the person using it. An exception applies in cases where it is not possible to obtain prior consent and the processing of the data is permitted by a legal regulation.

3. Provision of the website and creation of log files

When you access and use my website, I collect personal data that your browser automatically transmits to my server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. When you use my website, I collect the following data, which is technically necessary for me to show you my website and to ensure stability and security:

You can request confirmation from the person responsible as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed by me. If such processing occurs, you can request information from the person responsible about the following information:

  • The categories of personal data that are processed
  • The receiving parties or the categories of receiving parties to whom the personal data concerning you have been or will be disclosed
  • The planned duration of storage of the personal data concerning you or, if specific information is not possible, criteria for determining the storage period
  • The existence of a right to rectification or deletion of personal data concerning you, a right to restrict processing by the person responsible or a right to object to this processing
  • The existence of a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
  • All available information about the origin of the data if the personal data is not collected from the data subject

Exceptions
The right to deletion does not exist if the processing is necessary:
  • To exercise the right to freedom of expression and information

The person responsible will no longer process the personal data concerning you unless they can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
